The Custom Order Process Explained
1. Consultation
Join us in person or virtually to discuss and buy a custom engagement ring that fits what you're looking for. During your 30-minute appointment, we’ll answer your questions, measure your ring size, and show you custom ring settings that match your lifestyle and aesthetic. This step is also when we can discuss engraved rings.
We’ll help you decide what diamond shapes and gemstones best suit your preferences for your custom rings. Our custom engagement rings start at $3,500 and typically range between $5,000 and $20,000.
2. Stone Sourcing & Deposit*
We require a $250 non-refundable procurement fee to begin searching for your perfect gem through our trusted network of gemstone and diamond dealers. Our team will present you with stone options, and you will choose one for your own engagement ring.
The time it takes to find your center stone for custom rings may be increased for harder-to-come-by stones. Once you select your stone from our curated options, we will draft your invoice for payment.
Please note: Custom ring orders less than $5,000 will require payment in full. Orders $5,000+ may be split into two payments.
3. CAD review/approval
We will share digital mock-ups (CAD renderings) of your custom made engagement ring to review and approve via email. Up to two adjustments are allowed before additional CAD fees of $250 are requested. Please ensure a speedy reply so we can begin production on your custom rings.
4. Production (4-6 wks)
Once you approve your custom design engagement ring, Our jewelers will spend the next few weeks casting, polishing, and setting stones into your ring. You’ll receive an update when the custom rings are completely finished.
5. Final Payment & Delivery
The last and most exciting step, your custom ring is ready! You’ll be invoiced for the remaining balance. After your final payment, we will have your custom engagement ring shipped or ready for in-store pickup.
We will provide you with a lovely ring box, ring material documentation, information on our warranty, care, and cleaning. We are happy to offer complimentary cleanings and check-ups on your custom made engagement rings for a lifetime.
