Valerie Madison Fine Jewelry is a distinguished independent jewelry designer brand located in Seattle, Washington. As the Pacific Northwest’s only BIPOC-owned fine jewelry store, we are proud to serve a diverse clientele who value our commitment to trust, quality, and sophistication. We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Fine Jewelry Consultant who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and representing our brand with integrity and professionalism.
Valerie Madison Fine Jewelry is looking for a dynamic and adaptable team member to support our operations and fulfillment team while also occasionally assisting on the jewelry sales floor. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys both behind-the-scenes efficiency and customer interaction. It’s a great opportunity for someone returning from college or looking to grow within a small, woman-owned fine jewelry business.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Fulfillment
- Process and fulfill online orders with care and accuracy, ensuring timely shipping and packaging
- Manage returns, exchanges, and repairs, communicating with customers as needed
- Maintain organization of fulfillment supplies and assist in general store operations
- Provide support in processing incoming merchandise
Sales & Customer Service
- Assist customers in-store, providing a warm and knowledgeable shopping experience
- Educate customers on our fine jewelry collections, materials, and craftsmanship
- Support the sales team with transactions, special orders, and client follow-ups
- Help create a welcoming and inviting store atmosphere
Who You Are:
- A detail-oriented and organized individual who thrives in both independent and team environments
- A strong communicator with a friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats in a small business setting
- Experience in retail, fulfillment, or e-commerce is a plus but not required
- Interested in fine jewelry and eager to learn
